It's been a long time! :D

Wow, time sure flies fast.. It's been a long time since i uploaded my works here, I've been super busy with my school submission, I cant even sleep!! Tiredness reach it's max point..

Not that i'm free, i decided to adding more and more and more.. :D

Well, starting with my latest portfolio for design studio,

p.s. this is the one that makes my sleepless night possible.

Now i decided to upload my last year creation for my draping class.. I create a dress, with asymmetrical hem line and style lines.

How do i get this: drape the whole piece of fabric, on the mannequin, mark, pin here and there.. then draw the style lines on top.
After that, take out the pieces, lay it out on the table, flatten it, then see, smoothen the lines.
after doing so, cut each panels of style lines. Dont forget to determine where you want the opening to be.

The next step is tracing out each panels onto paper, to have the final pattern of the dress.. after that, just cut the pattern on the new fabric, then sow each part together to reform the whole garments.

Do finishing,and closing, like zipper and hemline, herringbone stitch..

Keep on moving on

I'm quite depressed yesterday, a lot's gg on, i'm tired mentally n physically.. This week is assessment's week, i think that's the core problem..

I need more time to finished everything.. I'm dong my best, stay up late, waking up early and so on, hope that my effort wouldn't disappoint me..

Viva fashion! Deconstruction and reconstruction

Now, again, dealing with 3d, but now more towards fabric manifestation that i did.

the actual suit that i buy in salvation army to reconstruct.

Then my first reconstruction that i did. We didn't allowed to cut the fabrics yet, so we just manipulate it by pinning or folding or twisting.

For this one onward, we allowed to trim and to sectioned and deconstruct the garments. but we still have to cut it according to the pattern, so just cutting it on the seamline.

Deals with 3D !! :D

Fashion involves every aspect in our lives besides clothes, especially 3d forms! I have some of my project works that i did last time, and i'm thinking, why not i share it out to you guys? :D

First 1 is what i did on my first year in Lasalle, foundation year,

This is one of my fave 3d projects! we have to create a headgear, made of everything white, but unfortunately we cant use fabrics, and dbl sided tape, to make it more challenging..
Well i can say that it's my fave project now, but yeah, at that time, it's very2 stressfull, esp before the parade.

And this one  is my bondage newspaper dress, creating by me for my design studio last year, level 1 fashion design. Basically we just asked to bring a lot of newspaper and tape, and drape the garments directly on the mannequin. and voila! comes this dress!! >.<

Struggling everyday

Sigh seems that my life all full with homeworks and projects. Fighting to keep my eyes open every night just to make sure i did everything right.. >.<
